Description
MagnaPrint® Glitter Binder QPUK is a ready made, clear, elastic binder specially formulated for glitter effects. Glitter powders can be added at up to 20%.
If necessary, MagnaPrint® Eco Pigments can be added to obtain the desired background shade.
Application
- Screen mesh selection is dependent upon the particle size of the glitter.
- As a guide use 12 – 24T (30 – 60) mesh screens with rectangular profile squeegees.
- If printing in conjunction with a multicoloured design, print MagnaPrint® Glitter Binder QPUK as last colour to avoid pick up.
- After printing the garment / panel should be dried and cured ideally for 120- 180 seconds @ at 165°C (330°F).
How to Use
- Fabric Type: Cotton / Poly Blends
- Mesh: 12-24T
- Pigment: Up to 20% Glitter / Metallic Powder
- Squeegee: Recommend 65 Red
- Stencil: Use Water Resistant Emulsion e.g. MagnaPrint Emulsion, Autosol 6000, Dirasol 25.
- Curing: 120 – 180 seconds at 165 Degrees C
- Additives: Crosslinker 100
- Clean Up: Use Water
