Best of Brands is a range of inks under a group label bringing together the best of the inks selected from all four of the Rutland brands (Rutland Inks, Union Inks, Printop and QCM). Please note that gradually Best of Brands ink will be replaced by Avient Speciality Inks.
The product offering under the Best of Brands label includes Cotton Whites with improved printability, Economic Low Bleed Whites, Inks specifically for Polyester, Transfer Products, Adhesives, Special Effects Inks and Additives.

Additives
Hugger Catalyst / Nylobond Additive is an essential ingredient for printing on Nylon jackets and other products made of woven nylon. Add 10-15% Nylobond by weight to any Plastisol Ink and it will adhere to nylon. When printing onto heavily waterproof garments or with high opacity inks we advise increasing the percentage amount. Nylobond will reduce ink viscosity, if so leave the mixture to stand for 2 hours and it will thicken. If not add a thickening additive.
Once the Nylobond has been added to your Plastisol Ink you have a shelf life of 8-16 hours. After that time do not use the ink for printing. Do not return the Plastisol Ink containing Nylobond to the original container as it will contaminate the remaining ink. Garments need to be cured in the normal way when using Plastisol Inks. Available in 500ml / 1 Litre containers.
Unistretch Clear when you are using stretchy fabrics such as Lycra/Spandex or any non-dyed polyester fabric and an improvement in elasticity is required. Do not use water-resistant emulsions as they can react with the components used to manufacture Unistretch and cause the ink to lock-up and clog the mesh.
Mixing Instructions: Up to 35% Unistretch Clear may be added to plastisol to achieve desired elongation in print. Do Not mix into inks formulated for polyester or print this product onto any dyed fabric containing polyester as it will promote dye migration.
