Description
A concentrated water miscible solvent blend conatining surfactants that is used straight during print runs and is diluted with water when cleaning the inks from the screen before the reclaiming process.
This product has low flammability, low odour, is readily biodegradeable and contains chemicals less harmful to operators than traditional cleaning solvents.
The product is sold as a concentrate, and for dilution with water at the end of your print run. Typical dilution ratios are 1:1 or 1:2.
To remove ink during a Print run
- For best results apply the screen wash (neat) as soon as possible after printing, before the ink has dried in. Apply to both sides of the screen with either a screen cleaning brush or a cloth.
- Leave to stand for 2 minutes whilst the ink softens. The low volatility of this product allows longer dwell times than traditional cleaning solvents, for improved ink removal with reduced staining.
- Wipe off of your screen using a clean cloth or a rag (no water to be added in this process or it will soften your stencil).
- Leave the screen to dry before starting your new print run.

- Wash both sides of the screen thoroughly with water to remove all traces of solvent. Please ensure that all traces of the solvent are removed before using your pressure washer.
The solution has a shelf life of 2 years when stored at 0 to 30 degrees. If it is stored under freezing conditions below -10 degrees. the product may seperate so bring into room temperature and agitate before use.
